Fort Wayne Peace Action has been a voice of dissent
against the war and occupation if Iraq since October,
2002.  We continue to oppose the occupation and
will increase the visibility of our dissent through the
Occupation Project.

Congress recently approved funding for Bush to
continue his illegal occupation of Iraq. Senator Bayh
ignored a mandate from the people given him in the
last election to Bring the Troops Home Now! On
March 29, 2007, we occupied the offices of Senators
Bayh and Lugar, resulting in arrests (which were
later thrown out). We give our Senators notice: If you
won't vote to end the occupation of Iraq, we will
continue to occupy your offices.

The killing of U.S. Troops and innocent Iraqi's must
stop. Our Senators have the power and the
responsibility  to stop this occupation and to bring
our soldiers home, where they belong.

Fort Wayne Peace Action is organizing locally to
continue to "bring the war home," by acts of
nonviolent civil disobedience, demonstrations, and
vigils.
